Introducing the Modern Blueker Range

Newcastle, 1 February 2008: Specialist tile company Earp Bros is excited to announce the release of the new Blueker range of floor and wall and feature tiles, which can be purchased exclusively through their three showrooms throughout Australia.

Dominated by moody blue hues, and influenced heavily by Belgium Blue Stone, this versatile range is available in a variety of colours perfect for use on floors, walls and even as feature tiles. Blueker forms part of the new Ston-Ker range, where like natural stone the product has a unique homogenous structure that always presents the same unalterable surface.

This prevents wear and tear from altering the appearance of the tile. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the range is easy to clean and maintain, is stain and chemical resistant and has a high scratch resistance. According to Richard Earp, Joint Managing Director of Earp Bros “Blueker is an exciting product for Earp Bros. With its superior finish and highly functional features, it is suitable for commercial and residential projects of any scale”. Blueker floor tiles are designed for high traffic performance and are available in three sizes, 596mm x 596 mm, 800mm x 800mm and 660mm x 440 mm.

They are rectified for greater job accuracy and fully vitrified, meaning that there is less than 0.1% water absorption. 219mm x 219mm and 660mm x 440 mm sizes are also available in a anti-slip finish for areas where slip resistance is critical. The Blueker 3D range is inspired by natural geometric creations and provides a simple means of covering surfaces with a multitude of small Ston-ker tiles to create a 3 dimensional effect. “Blueker 3D works to complement the blueker floor range to create a stylish feature wall that will complete any setting,” says Richard. Blueker Tablet is an additional feature wall tile to finish this versatile range. Available in 200mm x 333mm pieces, it is a pre-cut mosaic suitable for indoor use only. Pre cut mosaic tiles have cuts in the surface which enables the tiler to grout the surface in between each mosaic. While giving the exact same appearance as a sheeted mosaic, this new technology gives greater accuracy and is much easier to cut and lay.
